Thanks to the last successful delivery of the smaller template (1,500ton) in 2024, we were awarded with another bigger project from the same client.
The full name Sub-sea Self-leveling Pre-piling Template is the second product manufactured by AlphaECC and is the world's largest, weighing 1,800 tons.
A sub-sea self-leveling pre-piling template, actually an equipment, is a specialized, heavy-duty engineering tool used in offshore construction (particularly wind farms and oil & gas) to guide the installation of foundation pin piles. It ensures precise positioning, orientation, and verticality of piles on the seabed before the main structural jacket is installed. This equipment does speed up the offshore jacket installation works.
It is one of the largest single-weight modules executed by AlphaECC this year. Recognizing the significance of timely delivery for the offshore T&I operations of our client, the construction team made diligent efforts to complete the project within the seven-month manufacturing period.
The successful completion of this project is a testament to AlphaECC's capabilities and expertise in the fabrication of complex and heavy steel structures. The positive outcomes from this pioneering project bolster our confidence for forthcoming orders within the offshore wind power market.
