DELIVERY OF OFFSHORE WIND PLATFORMS – NORDLICHT 1
Continuing our involvement in overseas offshore wind projects, we are proud to announce another successful delivery of nearly 40 units of External Platforms and Airtight Platforms, with a total weight of approximately 630 tons, for the Nordlicht 1 project in the North Sea for site installation.
All structures were fabricated in strict compliance with the APQP4Wind Manual and EN 1090 Execution Class 2 requirements.
In addition to a tight schedule, this project required a specialized coating system that could only be applied under humidity levels below 60%, as well as TSZA (Thermally Sprayed Aluminum & Zinc) coating for all external platforms.
Over the years, this type of steelwork has been consistently executed by the same dedicated team.
