OTSG – ONCE THROUGH STEAM GENERATOR DELIVERED
AlphaECC is proud to announce the successful completion and delivery of two OTSG (Once Through Steam Generator) modules for an oil & gas project in the North Sea.
The two modules, comprising various process systems and equipment such as exhaust dampers, air reservoirs, pressure vessels, knock-out vessels, feedwater tanks, and condensate polisher skids, weigh over 350 tons and were strictly built in compliance with ASME/PED standards.
Our scope of work included detailed design, procurement, fabrication, and testing.
OTSG is a compact and efficient heat exchanger technology that continuously converts feedwater into superheated steam in a single pass through a series of tubes.
Without the need for a steam drum, it is ideal for applications such as oil sands (SAGD) and power generation that require rapid response to load changes.
The project was managed by a capable and experienced project control team, with an average workforce of over 150 personnel operating within the confined space of the modules.
The successful manufacturing of this process technology once again earned strong recognition from our clients and set a solid benchmark for quality—one that we are firmly committed to maintaining.
