Rangdong Field, CPC Platform Modification, awarded to ALPHA ECC
ALPHAECC has been currently awarded the CPC Platform Modification by Japan-Vietnam Petroleum Company (known as JVPC).
4-wells CPC platform is within Randong Oil Field own and exploited by JVPC, that is procuding around 40-50,000 bpd. Together with the new development of Phuongdong Oil Field, CPC is planned to be upgraded and modified to connect with the new coming Phuongdong Platform by next year of 2008.
ALPHA ECC's scope of work is:
- Installation of the new fuel gas pig launcher.
- Tie-in the fuel gas launcher to existing risers.
- Fabrication and Installation of new 12" riser.
- Installation of new crude oil heater.
- Bridge strengthening work.
- Piping and structural modifications
- Existing structures and piping demolition.
- Associated E&I works.
Works are scheduled from 12 July 2007 till 5 August 2008.
