ANOTHER WHRU (WASTE HEAT RECOVERY UNIT) SUCCESSFULLY MANNUFACTURED & DELIVERED
Following the last successful delivery of a WHRU (550 tons), we have completed and delivered another WHRU (1,000 tons) to an LNG plant in Houston (end-user Freeport LNG).
This module, consisting of 15 units (convection box modules, stacks and ducts, support steel, ladder & platforms, etc), totally weights 1,000 tons. A number of steel grades (SS400, S275JR, S355J2, A36, A106gr.b, A105, A240Gr.304, TP 409) was used for the fabrication. The heaviest box weights 498 tons.
With only six months, including procurement, the project team managed to skillfully coordinate planning, production, load-out (in our own jetty). Their excellent quality and safety performance was highly appreciated by both the client & the end-user.
This is the biggest WHRU we have ever built.
